The location was perfect, with plenty of places to eat and drink within a short walk. It was also close to other towns like York and Harrogate, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas. the open plan layout of the downstairs was spacious and minimalistic, and the log burner was a fantastic addition that kept us cozy during the cold evenings.
It would have been nice to have a warmer reception, especially since it was a special occasion. the lack of congratulations or any personalized touch for our celebration was a small disappointment.

The cottage was perfectly clean and had everything we needed for our stay, including a washing machine and board games to keep us entertained. the log burner was a great addition and kept us warm during the chilly evenings. the beds were really comfortable and the bathroom was modern. the location of the cottage was excellent, just a short walk from the town center with its shops, bars, and cafes. We also enjoyed the lovely walks in the area, right on the doorstep of the cottage. a great property in a convenient location!
One minor issue was that the shower head wouldn't stay upright in its holder, which was a bit frustrating. the water pressure in the shower could have been better as well.

The Old Chapel Leyburn was an amazing value for the money. The rooms were surprisingly spacious and the cottage had top-notch amenities, including a fabulous bathroom. The location was perfect, with the charming village just a stone's throw away. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The breakfast could have been better with a wider variety of glasses and plates. It would have been helpful to have more options for taller glasses and additional plates/dishes.

The owners provided a folder of helpful information, which was greatly appreciated. The location was fantastic, with great amenities nearby. we highly recommend Old Chapel Leyburn for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
One small drawback was the limited selection of glasses and plates, which could be improved. However, this did not detract from our overall experience.

The cottage was a hidden gem tucked away in a charming market town. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, including a dishwasher and washer dryer. the location was fantastic, with shops, bars, and cafes right on the doorstep. We also loved the fact that it was dog-friendly and had a nice space for our furry friend.
The shower head in the bathroom was a bit frustrating as it wouldn't stay upright in its holder. the water pressure wasn't great, although we understand that it may be due to the old building.
